Ulster coach Neil Doak is optimistic that lock Franco van
der Merwe will be fit for Sunday's European Champions Cup game against the Scarlet’s.
Stuart Olding, Stuart McCloskey, Nick Williams and Wiehahn
Herbst have been ruled out after being injured in Saturday's win over the Welsh
club.
Van der Merwe was also forced off in the win with suspected
concussion but appears to be recovering well.
Backs Olding (concussion) and McCloskey (elbow) are out
along with forwards Herbst and Williams, who have hamstring injuries.
On the plus side, Ireland centre Luke Marshall could make a
return to the squad after being out for over six weeks because of a knee
injury.
Ulster are seeking another bonus-point win over the Scarlet's
to keep their European hopes alive.
My verdict I see this a very close match that could go
either way Ulster by no more than 3

Sam Burgess will make
his first start for Bath in Friday's European Champions Cup game against
Montpellier.
The ex-rugby league star, 25, arrived at the Premiership
club in October and, after recovering from a fractured cheekbone, made his
debut a month later as a replacement against Harlequins.
His first appearance in Europe came from the bench in last
week's 30-5 victory in Montpellier.

My prediction with the French sides not doing well away from
home I see this as a bath win

Discuss the teams
Glasgow Warriors flanker Chris Fusaro will need surgery on
his right ankle after being injured in last Sunday's 19-11 defeat to Toulouse.
Adam Ashe will also be side-lined for several weeks
following a neck injury sustained while on Scotland duty.
Fusaro underwent an MRI scan to determine the injury, but he
will not know how long he will be missing until after the operation.

Harlequins flanker Chris Robshaw and fly-half Nick Evans
have been ruled out of the European Champions Cup match against Leinster in
Dublin.
England captain Robshaw, 28, is struggling with a shoulder
injury and has been referred to a specialist.
Fly-half Evans, 34, has groin and back problems and went off
after 11 minutes of Sunday's home win over Leinster.

My Prediction
I can not see this match going any way except a bonus point
win for Northampton with Treviso not getting a bonus point but I could see Northampton
winning by about 12 and Treviso giving them a match

I think that this will be a good win for Racing Metro maybe
