With Wales win over England on Saturday all of England’s
hopes seem to rest on beating Australia on Saturday but wales do expect a
tricky tie against Fiji and seem to be rolling out the excuses already of the 4
day turnaround.

Scotland seems to be doing very well in the competition so
far but have not met any of the big teams yet. I am not sure what to think of
South Africa at this time but I have a feeling that this match will go down to
the last day nothing is decided yet.

Pool C seem to have sorted itself out already with New
Zealand on top and Argentina on second spot. Georgia will finish in third position.
There could still be a couple of surprises in this group.

Everything seems to be set on the final day between Ireland
and France but for that to happen Ireland have to beat Italy on Sunday. Italy
also have to seal there spot in Japan which I think they will do as well.
RESULT OF THE WEEK
The result of the week has to go to Wales after beating
England in the world cup not just the performance but the fact that they were a
try down for most of the match and you could not see anything but an England
win until Wales scored their try.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
For me this honour goes to Canada who were able to make a
real match of their match against Italy there were times in the match where you
could actually see Canada beating Italy even though Italy play rugby at a much
higher level
MOMENT OF THE WEEK
There was the moment when wales scored their try against
England but for me a moment off the week is one that will go into legend and
that moment was when Morath becomes the
leading scorer in Tonga history why this one because it could go in Tonga
legend for a long time as sometimes records do stand.
Wales have to be the performance of the week because of the
fact that they were down for so long during the match and that you had never
had the sense that they were going to give up and I think that they deserve it.
I also have to give a shout to Namibia who scored 3 tries against Tonga and the
fact that they are the bottom ranked team and have never gained a point since
the new system was introduced in 2003
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
There have been a few stars this week like Irelands Keith
Earls scoring 2 tries and Davies scoring for Wales to Mc Calumn from Australia
at the right time but for me this honour goes to JP Peterson from South Africa
for scoring a hat trick especially after having their nervous loss to Japan
last week this does show the form that they can get back to and the fact that
it is a hat trick only adds to that.
