PRO 12
Friday
BLUES V CONNACHT
Cardiff Blues: Rhys Patchell; Alex Cuthbert, Ray Lee-Lo,
Gavin Evans, Tom James; Jarrod Evans, Lloyd Williams; Gethin Jenkins (capt),
Ethan Lewis, Taufa'ao Filise, Jarrod Hoeata, Lou Reed, Macauley Cook, Josh
Turnbull, Manoa Vosawai.
Replacements: Kristian Dacey, Sam Hobbs, Craig Mitchell,
James Down, Cam Dolan, Tavis Knoyle, Garyn Smith, Dan Fish.
Connacht: Tiernan O'Halloran; Darragh Leader, Bundee Aki,
Craig Ronaldson, Matt Healy; Jack Carty, Ian Porter; Ronan Loughney, Dave
Heffernan, Rodney Ah You; Quinn Roux, Aly Muldowney; John Muldoon (capt), James
Connolly, Eoin McKeon.
Replacements: Jason Harris-Wright, Conan O'Donnell, Finlay
Bealham, George Naoupu, Sean O'Brien, Kieran Marmion, Peter Robb, Rory Parata
When you have hopes of winning a title any title this is the
type of match that Connacht should be getting 5 points from and I would be disappointed
if they did not. I think that this is a Connacht team that has come from nowhere
and brought through players ready for the youth teams but Pat Lam has been the
coach of the year and I can only see Connacht win this comfortably with the
bonus point being the issue but not the win.
ULSTER V EDINBURGH

Ulster: P Nelson, A Trimble, D Cave, L Marshall, R Scholes,
P Jackson, R Pienaar, K McCall, R Herring (capt), R Lutton, D Tuohy, F van der
Merwe, I Henderson, C Henry, R Wilson.
Replacements: J Andrew, A Warwick, W Herbst, A O'Connor, N
Williams, P Marshall, S McCloskey, L Ludik.
Edinburgh: J Cuthbert, D Fife, C Dean, M Scott, W Helu, P
Burleigh, S Kennedy; A Dickinson, R Ford, WP Nel, A Bresler, A Toolis, M Coman
(capt), J Hardie, C Du Preez.
Replacements: N Cochrane, R Sutherland, J Andress, J
Ritchie, H Watson, N Fowles, M Allen, B Kinghorn.
Ulster are the weakest of the Irish sides at the moment but
Edinburgh are on the same number of points as them I see this as a hum dinger
of a match with no one having any sense of control of it. Ulster proved against
Leinster there is still a lot that needs improving and I hope that they can
sort themselves out here but I would not be certain.
SATURDAY
TREVISO V SCARLETS
Scarlets should be able to pick up a bonus point in this
game but there is not that much between the 2 sides. I would not be that
surprised if Treviso won this but there seems to be a few things wrong with and
in Italy this could be a very different match
GLASGOW V LEINSTER
The 2 best teams in the pro 12 last season’s go heads to
head in the match that people might think as a title decider but neither team
seems to be working at the moment. I feel that this will be an open game of
rugby where anyone could win it. Purely on home advantage I’d go Glasgow
SUNDAY
ZEBRE V OSPREYS
The Ospreys are doing ok on early season form and the only
thing that Zebre have to there advantages the fact that they are at home I feel
that a losing bonus point would be a success for Zebre and that I think they
will play for

Dragons are at the bottom of the table while Munster are at
the top I think Muster are ready bto show who they are in this one and I think
that they will as they have a quality back up from the world cup fighting for
places. I think the coach will get this right and Munster will win.
