06-10-14 pro 12 league

ULSTER 30-0 EDINBURGH
TRIMBLE AND BEST PROVE ULSTER ARE NEARLY THERE

Paddy Jackson scores an early penalty on 13 minutes. On 25 minutes Mc Closky wins a high kick and runs with it and is able to pass the ball to Andrew Trimble who scores the try. Paddy Jackson scores the conversion.  Some brilliant run and into a pack and run and into a pack put Ulster having a simple penalty which Paddy Jackson scores with just before half time. This looks like a different team to last week.
Half time Ulster 13-0 Edinburgh

Nick Williams was denied try for Ulster as the referee could not see whether the ball was grounded on 60 minutes. But he gets the try from the penalty and getting the ball from a maul and ran it simply into the corner Stuart Olding missed the conversion. Ulster scores their third try from a roiling maul by Rory Best on 68 Stewart Olding converts. Ball from the scrum and Marshall get it off the scrum and passes to Trimble to get the bonus point. Olding misses the conversion

Players like Marshall and Mc Closkey my man of the match should be looked at in the autumn international by Joe Schmidt now as they are still young.
Ulster will stay in third position. Do you think this is where they should be in the table? Are they ready for this season?
ZEBRE 14-15 OSPRAYS
BISEGNI ARE DEFINITELY IMPROVING BUT DAVIES KICKS OSPRAYS TO VICTORY

This was a very close match between a team who are definitely improving and a team who sit on the top of the table. Bisegni scored the only try of the match for Zebre as they lost this gripping encounter. But the boot of Davies was the difference as he scored 5 penalties to win this match for the Welsh in form team. Ospreys do seem like a much stronger team this season than last as they sit with 5 wins and at the top of the table with Glasgow.
Do you think they will be here at the end of the year?
CONNACHT 24- 24 CARDIFF BLUES
HOBBS PRODUCE A CARDIFF MIRACLE

Connacht are definitely improving as you can see in this 3 try a piece match. Keiron Marimon and Nathon White helped Connacht go into a 24-10 lead. But Cardiff did come back but Macauley Cooks 70th minute try gave Cardiff some hope. When Sam Hobbs scored the try Rhys Pachell levelled the match. With Connacht being able to loose such a big lead it does make you think did they just run out of gas or did they just get worse and worse.
LEINSTER 23-34 MUNSTER
KEATLY AND CRONAN SHOUT MUNSTER ARE BACK

Munster achieved their first away win against Leinster since 2008 with a exiting and tough match on Saturday at the Aviva stadium. Munster took complete control of this match in the first half with tries from James Cronan, Robin Copeland and Ian Keatley. Leinster got themselves back into the match with a try from Darragh Fanning and a penalty try. Munster had for men sin binned in the second half but was able to close out the win. This match was a bit aggressive win bits but does this mean Munster will be a force again I am not sure what do you think?
TREVISO 23-40 GLASGOW
SEYMOUR SHOW WHY THEY ARE ON FORM

Glasgow kept themselves on the top of the table but they had to come from 10-0 Michele Campagnaro scored an early try for Treviso to give and got one later in the match.  down to get the win. Tommy Seymour scored his first of two a couple of minutes later before Tyrone Holmes scored on 23 minutes on 23 minutes.  DTH Van Der Merwe and Sean Lamont also scored tries. Weir does seem to be doing well with the boot also.   Every win is important in the pro 12 and Glasgow does look like they are getting better and better. I think that they are doing very well this season so far
Can Glasgow make a step into the quarters in Europe this season?
SCARLETS 26-13 DRAGONS
PRIESTLAND KICKS SCARLET'S TO VICTORY

Rhys Priestland was kicking like a machine as he scored 13 points himself in this all Welsh affair as he hit 5 shots 3 penalties and 2 conversions which at the end of the match was a big difference in the match. Gareth Owen went over for the first try and Kirstan Phillips the second. Rees scored the only try for the Dragons in this very disappointing encounter for the spectator.
