will next year get the chance to show off its state-of-the-art facilities to
the world.

Leeds may be more accustomed to rugby league than union with
Leeds Rhinos being one of the best teams in Rugby League but the city will catch cross-code fever when
it hosts a weekend of international action next year.

Did you know? While Elland Road is synonymous with football,
its first live televised match was the rugby league Challenge Cup final replay
in 1982.
Rugby history It staged a match between the North of England
and South Africa in 1992.

Rugby traditionalists
will be delighted that Kingsholm is playing its part in the tournament. The old
school ground is one of the country’s most intense and noisiest venues. Gloucester
is one of the few venues agreed to be played at this year’s world cup rather
than football

Did you know? Kingsholm Stadium hosted its first rugby
international in 1900, but did not stage another until 1991.
