If you had have said this at the start of this season I
would have said that Racing would win and win quite comfortably but Glasgow
look very good as they are going on an upwards spiral while Racing are going on
a downwards one . I think that with players like Grey and Russel Glasgow can
make a change here and win to keep their European hopes alive but it will be
close and I think Racing will improve
SATURDAY
POOL 1
LEICESTER V MUNSTER
This year reminds me of the old Munster and there is that
thing that they are playing for something or for someone but I think that this
match will also be a close one but I think people like Connor Murray will make
the difference killing of the game at the end. When a team is playing like this
in Europe they are very hard to stop.
POOL 2
TOLOUSE V ZEBRE
Toulouse must win this to stay in this group as Zebre are
the traditional whopping boys of the group and I think here that they will as
they have got too much for the Italian side
CONNACHT V WASPS
Connacht have come from nowhere this season to be in this
pool as a serious contender and if they stand any chance of reaching the
Knockouts this is a tie that they must aim to either win or get at least a losing
bonus from . I think they can win as they had shown last week that they could
compete until the end and I think they will do this on Saturday. I think
Connacht will get a losing bonus point
POOL 4
LEINSTER V
NORTHAMPTON
Leinster are showing that they are back to the form that
they were at a couple of years ago after getting the bonus point against
Northampton last week and I think the same fate awaits the saints this week. I
think that with players like Sean O Brian and Devon Toner Leinster should win
but I do worry that Leinster do not have a quality fly half as if the game is
within range the saints could win it
POOL 5
BORDEUX V EXETER
Exeter wold have had high expectations for this season and I
thought that they could be a force in the group now they have lost 3 games what
will they do. That to me will be the difference to whether Bordeaux get a bonus
point here or not
