POOL 2 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS CUP 16-1-16

WASPS 17- 14 TOLOUSE

ROBSON HANDS WASPS WIN TO EFFECTIVELY SECURE QUARTER FINAL PLACE FOR WASPS

Jean-Marc Doussain missed two Toulouse penalties before Jimmy Gopperth's kick gave Wasps a 3-0 half-time lead.
After the break, Toulouse's Yoann Huget scored, Doussain adding the conversion.
Toulouse were awarded a penalty try after Elliot Daly had crossed for Wasps, before Robson dived over from a quick tap penalty with 58 seconds left.
But the match was won with a last minute Dan Robson's dramatic late try which  handed Wasps a vital win.

Wasps have to play Zebre this weekend knowing that if they get a win here they will secure a spot in the quarter finals and Zebre are not the best of teams in this seasons Champions cup Wasps should get a bonus point from this match quite easily

CONNACHT 66-21 ZEBRE

HEALY AND MARMION DOUBLE SECURE WIN FOR CONNACHT

Tiernan O'Halloran, Kieran Marmion and Matt Healy scored two tries with John Cooney, Finlay Bealham, Craig Ronaldson and Caolin Blade also touching down.
The home team wobbled early on as tries from Johan Meyer and Federico Ruzza helped Zebre take a 14-7 lead.
But Connacht hit 33 unanswered points before the break as Zebre imploded.
The visitors played the closing eight minutes of the first half with 13 men after Lloyd Greeff and prop Pietro Ceccarelli had both been sin-binned.
Impressive scrum-half Marmion and fit-again Ronaldson exploited Connacht's two-man advantage to run in ridiculously easy tries, although the bonus point had already been secured before that.

This was an expected win for Connacht but we do not want what happened to Ulster to happen to Connacht as we want them to be able to win or lose by less than 7 if they can keep the game tight then they should have enough to reach the quarter finals
